Pianist, Richard Dunan, received his musical education at Florida State University in piano performance, and Indiana University in musicology and opera conducting. He has served on the faculties of The University of Arkansas, teaching French horn, theory, and history. He also served on the faculty of the University of Akron, where he was the director of orchestras. As a pianist, Mr.. Duncan has partnered with numerous vocalists and instrumentals throughout the United States. As a conductor, he has appeared throughout the United State and Europe leading musical theater productions, opera performances and the standard orchestral repertoire. His most recent assignments have included the world premieres of avant-garde compositions in Chicago and New York, Tosca, and Barber of Seville. Mr. Duncan makes him home in New York City.
